Philosophy:

My coaching philosophy centers on guiding each skater to achieve their desired level of beautiful skating. I emphasize fun, safety, and diverse training methods paying attention to solid basic skills. I believe in balancing technical advancements with the artistry and beauty of figure skating, fostering beautiful, effortless skating with well-executed transitions and choreography. Beyond physical conditioning, I focus on overall health and well-being, ensuring a holistic approach to each skater’s development.

Qualifications/Certifications:

• Coach in good standing with Skate Canada
• NCCP Regional certified, Provincial Coach Pair Course
• Coach Assessor 1-5 Star
• Previous coaching experience 7+ years
• Valid First Aid Certificate and police record check
• Completion of respect in Sport Activity Leader Training
• Agreed to the Skate Canada Code of Ethics
• Willingness to travel to competitions
• Interested in continuing education in coaching
