Number of Years Coaching Experience:

March-Kanata Skating Club: Starting to coach since 2025

Coaching Philosophy:

My goal as a coach is to empower skaters to feel confident, supported, and excited to grow. I believe skating should be a positive and safe space where athletes can have fun, explore, and not be afraid to make mistakes along the way. I want skaters to know that I am here for them—to listen, encourage, and guide them at every step. I believe progress looks different for every skater, so I focus on patience, consistency, and celebrating achievements big and small. No matter your goals, I’m here to guide, cheer you on, and help you get there. I value teamwork, communication, and creating an environment where skaters feel comfortable expressing themselves and pushing their limits. No matter how long the process takes, I want my skaters to feel that they can do anything, and that I’ll be by their side helping them reach their goals—while having fun along the way. As a skater with March-Kanata Skating Club, currently training and performing high-level skills and jumps, I’m excited to share what I know. I’m still learning the art of coaching, and I’m dedicated to developing those skills and creating a fun, supportive space for every skater I work with.
